I received the Art Naturals Ceramic Hair Straightening Brush at a discount in exchange for my review. I noticed that the box in which the brush is held had one of the seals broken. I tried to reserve judgment as to whether or not this item had been used simple from the seal being broken.

The contents with included the brush along with the bottle of argon oil and an instruction manual. I picked up the brush to find that the handle was greasy with finger print on it and the top back part of the brush is dirty/dusty. The bristle is also dirty/dusty. The manual has grease stains on it. I checked the argon oil bottle but the cap still had the seal indicating that it had not been opened; however, the bottle was also covered with grease. To me this item has already been used. The product feels a bit flimsy. I found that the placement of the controls troublesome as your thumb rests in the area; as I brushed the hair I would hit the control buttons changing the heat setting. I found that I still need to section the hair into small parts to get good coverage with the brush. I tried passing it as if I was brushing my hair but it just gets tangled.
This brush is not a good substitute for a flat iron. It helps with smoothing frizz but will not achieve that super straight sleek hair. I was not impressed with this straightening brush.
