Wet n Wild – The Clock Strikes Orange Manicure

I am sharing a manicure I did using Wet n Wild The Clock Strikes Orange. This polish is from the Limited Edition Pop Art Craze collection that came out in 2013. I’m not a big fan of orange polishes but I need to start going through my untried.

I applied one coat of Wet n Wild A Blank Canvas. I then applied two coats of The Clock Strikes Orange. The formula was ok. I topped it off with Seche Vite.  Beauty Tips for Women 661

I had purchased a Sassy + Chic nail art wheel from the Dollar Tree which has fimo flowers that I felt would add a little something to this manicure.     Beauty Tips for Women 662

Although I don’t think this orange complimented my skin tone well, it did come out nice with the addition of a simple flower.                                  Beauty Tips for Women 663

Beauty Tips for Women: Purple Lightening

I purchased “lightening” shaped nail decals from Amazon. When I received them I wasn’t very impressed with the shape.  Nail Art Polish Beauty tips for Women 602

I decided on a purple color scheme. I used Wet n Wild – Who Is Ultra Violet? and Essie – Nothing Else Metals.

Beauty Tips for Women: Tropical Kids Manicure

Recently my daughter asked for a tropical themed manicure and pedicure for an event we were attending.  She had very specific ideas of what she wanted in the manicure, a palm trees and hibiscus flowers.  I promised her I would share it on my blog.

For both hands and feet I used Wet n’ Wild Bijou Blue.  For her hands I stamped images of hibiscus flowers and a palm tree.

For her big toe, I created a decal of the stamped image so I could paint the flowers red.
