Halloween Happy Pumpkin Manicure

My youngest kid wanted a Halloween manicure. The request was for a gray background and orange happy pumpkins.

Products used:
Essence Colour & Go – Grey-t To Be Here
Sally Hansen – Lightening
B.M.C. – Teepee Tipping
Bundle Monster – BM-H06

I started off by choosing a pumpkin image that would fit my kid’s nail. I found a cute pumpkin on plate BM-H06. I made decals of the pumpkin using Teepee Tipping to get the orange and for the yellow color to mouth and eyes, Lightening.  beauty-tips-for-women-716

Once I had a set of decals made, I got the nails ready with base coat and one coat of Gey-t To Be Here. Waited for the polish to dry and then applied the pumpkin decals and sealed with Seche Vite.

So there you have it, Halloween happy pumpkin manicure makes for one happy kid.

Review: Jane Carter Solution Revive & Repair Hair Masque

My only experience with Jane Carter Solution is using their Revitalizing Leave-in Conditioner to refresh my curls. The Revitalizing Leave-in is great. I was in need of a treatment so I decided I would try their hair masque. I purchased the Jane Carter Solution Revive & Repair Hair Masque.

I started off by washing my hair with Shea Moisture African Water Mint & Ginger Detox & Refresh Hair & Scalp Gentle Shampoo. With my hair wet, I applied the masque in sections to my hair. The masque is thick and creamy with a pleasant smell. The slip is amazing. I left it on for 20 minutes and used a heating cap. My hair felt super soft when I rinsed it out. To style my hair I used the Revitalizing Leave-in. I didn’t use anything else because I wanted to see what would happen.

Really pleased with the results. The Revive & Repair Hair Masque delivered on its claims. This is definitely a holy grail product for me.  beauty-tips-for-women-715

Target Trick or Treat Candy Loot Scoop Kitty Cat and Pumpkin

Last year Target came out with Trick or Treat Candy Loot Scoop which is a cool twist on a Halloween candy bag. The Target website description “Loot Scoop is great for trick or treaters of all ages but is easiest to carry for the younger kids. The fabric bag is sturdy and printed with Target’s exclusive Halloween design”. The cost is $5.

The Loot Scoops were hard to find in stores last year but I managed to get the Pumpkin. Pumpkin is an orange monster hand with a pumpkin design on the bag. It certainly was easier for my kid to carry. It was stuffed to overflowing and we didn’t experience any tears in the fabric.

People got a good laugh when dropping candies into the hand.

As you can imagine I was on the lookout this year to get my hands on another Loot Scoop for the kids. Being that I am a nail polish enthusiast, I was excited when my youngest kid found the Kitty Cat. Kitty Cat is women’s hand with a pink ring and glitter nail polish and a cat design on the bag. Love it!

It makes a great addition as a costume prop.  I’m trying to convince my oldest kid to let me paint the nails on the orange monster hand with some glitter polish, perhaps green.   beauty-tips-for-women-710

According to the Target website they have come out with a Skeleton, Disney Princess, Kylo Ren version. They also revamped the Pumpkin which now has a black bag.
