Beauty Tips for Women: Easter Gradient Manicure

Easter is coming and I wanted a bright manicure to get me in the mood. For my gradient I choose two polishes from the Sally Girl Sweet Candy Dreams collection, Gummy Bear (pink) and Lemon Drop (yellow).
I started off with a base color of white using Milani White On The Spot. Using a makeup sponge I applied the gradient. I did three coats. I applied a coat of Wet n’ Wild Hallucinate/Hallucination. To seal everything in before stamping I used Seche Vite.

I decided to stamp using Cheeky Jumbo Plate C.

I stamped using Rica Whiteout and sealed it with Seche Vite.

I love how this turned out.

Beauty Tips for Women: Gradient Lotus Flower Manicure

For my gradient I choose two polishes from the Sally Girl Sweet Candy Dreams collection, Candy Coated (blue) and Grape Taffy (purple).

I started off with a base color of white using Salon Perfect Sugar Cube. Using a makeup sponge I applied the gradient. I did three coats. I applied a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust. To seal everything in before stamping I used Seche Vite.

I decided to stamp using Bundle Monster BM-616, which has a lovely full nail image of lotus flowers.

I stamped using Rica Whiteout and sealed it with Seche Vite.

I love how this turned out.

Beauty Tips for Women: L’Oreal Project Runway Limited Edition Nail Stickers – The Wise Mystic

Here is a review of this nail stickers/nail wraps from L’Oreal Project Runway in The Wise Mystic.

I have a strong “c” curve to my nails so I have always been skeptical of nail wraps. I was drawn by the color of this nail wrap and decided to give it a try.

I decided to skip laying a base color. I did use base coat. I had a very difficult time picking a size to fit my nails. The curve of my nails did become an issue as I was smoothing the sticker down. I had bumps, which I tried to smooth. I tried to file down the ends to fit the edge of my nails but could not get them smooth. I applied topcoat of Seche Vite.

The claim that it last up to 10 days did not prove to be right. By the end of the day the wraps were peeling back. Shame that they didn’t work for me because I like the design. Perhaps I can find another way to use it.
