Beauty Tips for Women: National Pink Day Manicure

June 23rd is National Pink Day, so to celebrate the day I did a pink manicure. I’m posting it a day late but still wanted to share.

I started off with two coats of Zoya Michelle and two coats of Milani White On The Spot and topped it off with Seche Vite.

I stamped the image from Cheeky Jumbo Plate A. I have had this plate for a bit and this was my first time using it. I had such problems picking up the images. I kept getting a lot of bold spots, which was very frustrating. I tried several stampers and still had the same results.

After stamping the image I had to go back and fill in the bold spots as best I could.

Over all I was happy how the manicure came out. Happy National Pink Day!

Beauty Tips for Women: V shape manicure

I have always loved the look of the V shaped manicure so I decided to give it a try. Here are the supplies I used to make this manicure.

I started off with two coats of Sinful Shine Sailor’s Delight and two coats of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Newborn Solstice Sun.

Using the tape I made a deep V shape and used Newborn Solstice Sun to fill it in.

I really liked how this manicure came out. The V shape gave the illusion that my nails are much longer than they are.

Beauty Tips for Women: Aztec Manicure

Sharing a simple Aztec inspired manicure. I used Aztec decals from Make It Stick. Make It Stick has a great selection of nail decals to choose from and they do decals for doors and walls. Check them out at www.makeitstickdesign.com. Here is picture of the Aztec decals.

For this manicure I used SinfulShine Mardi Gras and Venique Wingtip White. I used two coats for each polish.

For my left hand, I decided to cut one of the diamond shapes and use each half on my accent nails. I filled in the empty space with SinfulShine Mardi Gras and placed two triangles towards the top. I had to use two coats of top coat to help seal in the decals.
