For this manicure I was inspired by Jior Couture Cat’s Corn-er polish from their Halloween 2013 collection. Warning this post is picture intensive.
Cat’s Corn-er polish is a holographic thermal chocolate brown polish that is also candy corn scented. Application was smooth and the smell made me crave candy. I tried my best to capture the shift in thermal and the holorraphic effect in pictures.
I decided to stamp a cat to play on the title Cat’s Corn-er. I choose a lovely retro cat from Pueen Cosmetics plate Pueen40. I stamped with Maybelline Bold Gold.
The cat came across better when Cat’s Corn-er is dark brown rather than the light caramel color.
This polish packs a punch. I love how it changes colors and the different looks you can get. I’m glad that I just did a simple stamp cause I didn’t want to cover up the color.
I give Cat’s Corn-er 5 brains.
