Beauty Tips for Women: Minnie Mouse Manicure

The family took a Christmas trip to Disney World and I did a Minnie Mouse inspired Christmas manicure. I did this manicure on 12/11/13.

I started off with two coats of China Glaze Red Satin.

I used MoYou-London Princess Collection – 10 plate and Born Pretty Store plate RuiZ03.

I stamped using Maybelline Bold Gold.

The stamping on my index, middle and pinky finger didn’t come out to well but that was my fault. I was using a new square stamper and I was having trouble. Over all I liked this manicure.

Beauty Tips for Women: Christmas Tree Manicure 2013

I’ve been so behind in posting that I have a handful of Christmas manicures that I did in 2013 that I did write a post about. I put the pictures up on my instagram, twitter and the facebook page when I did them. So now I’m back tracking and posting up the steps and polished used.

This manicure was a test in using my non-dominant hand and I did these on 12/2/13. I decided to do Christmas trees. I used a rhinestone wheel, nail art brush, Pure Ice Jaguar, Ulta Envy, China Glaze Winter Holly, and Color Club top coat.

I did two coats of Jaguar.

Using the nail art brush I did a triangle shape using Envy then topped it with Winter Holly. My proportions were all off and I should have used tape to get a better line but oh well.

I added some red rhinestones at the top and then finished it off with top coat.

I wasn’t very happy with how it came out but the only way to improve using my left hand is to keep at it.

Beauty Tips for Women: Starrily – Razzle Dazzle Manicure

I had the recent luck to have won a contest hosted by the awesome beauty blogger Love for Lacquer and sponsored by Starrily. I received two lovely polishes, one of which I’ll be showing you today. Razzle Dazzle is a multi-colored glitter packed polish in a clear base.

I started off with two coats of China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint. Starrily recommends to “shake or roll bottle before using” and suggests to get those larger glitter pieces to “apply using a dab motion to pick out the glitters”; great advice, which I used in applying Razzle Dazzle. I only did one coat and that was sufficient to get coverage. Then applied Poshe top coat to finish this simple and eye catching manicure.

This is a beautiful glitter polish that applies like a dream. I would highly recommend it. It adds a beautiful pop of color to any manicure. I give Razzle Dazzle 5 brains.
