Buy buy baby coupons blog received an awesome e-postcard from buy buy baby with some great holiday gift ideas.  I was so excited by all the great stuff being offered that I just had to write about it.  I have been holding onto my buy buy baby coupons for just such a moment.

One of the hot items that the buy buy baby coupons blog caught sight of is the Step2 Inflatable Playhouse and/or Fort.  We all would like our kids to have a playhouse or a fort but we may not have the room for it.  The Inflatable Playhouse can be the answer to your prayers.  It has a large interior space with a side open wall, a doorway, and the best part it deflates and stores easily.  The price is around $40 and if you use a buy buy baby coupon to purchase the item you will get it for less. Sounds like a winner to the buy buy baby coupons blog.

If you have a Mickey Mouse fanatic in your house, the buy buy baby coupons blog recommends the Disney Classics Mickey Mouse Book.  It is a hardcover 20 page book staring Mickey Mouse and friends heading out some adventures.  They also have Peter Pan, Aladdin, Lion King, Princesses and an assortment of Disney characters.  Plus for under $8 this makes a great stocking stuffer and buy buy baby coupons blog highly recommends it.  You can never read enough to your children.

Beauty Tips for Women: Born Pretty – Snow White Stamping Plate QA48 Review

Today I am reviewing the stamping plate QA48, a.k.a. Snow White plate, I purchased from the Born Pretty website.  I am a sucker for all things Disney, so when I came across the Snow White princess plate I had to get it.

If you are not familiar with Born Pretty, they manufacture and sell nail art products. They also carry cosmetics, hair, hello kitty series, jewelry, etc.  They have great prices plus free shipping worldwide.  So check them out at http://www.bornprettystore.com.

The QA48 plate has two images of Snow White’s face and three flowery designs.  I did a paper test of all the images using konad special polish black.  The images transferred to the stamper but it was not a crisp image.  There was some blurring/smudging around the edges special in the sow white images.  Another odd thing that happened was after stamping was the image would stay on the stamper even though it had just transferred onto the paper.  This was the first time such a thing happened to me.  I tried using other back polishes but had the same results.  I was a bit bumped out by what was happening, but I wasn’t going to let it stop me from doing a manicure.

To start off my manicure I did two coats of Wet’nWild French White Crème.  I decided to stamp the flowery designs in the colors of Snow White’s dress, which are yellow, red, and blue.  For this I used Sally Hansen’s Lightening, Rapid Red, and Brisk Blue.  The lack of image crispness was really evident with the blue polish stamping on my pinky.   I placed Snow White on my ring finger and thumb.  I filled in the bow with red polish using a stripper brush.  I would have liked to do the lips in the same manner but forgot.

Overall I was happy how things came out but a bit disappointed with the image quality.  I know that images with large spaces can be tricky. So I gently scrapped off the polish during the stamping process.  But still that didn’t help in getting the image crisp.  The engraving of the images looked fine to my eye, but I’m no expert and my only conclusion is that there is a defect.  Either way the image still stamped decently and it wasn’t as big a deal.

I have ordered other stamping plates from Born Pretty and have had zero problems with them.  This was the first time I’ve had an issue.  Remember this is not an uncommon event to happen with stamping plates.

I give the Snow White stamping plate QA48 3 brains.  The issue with image crispness is the reason for the score but I do love the plate.

Beauty Tips for Women – Mickey Mouse Christmas Manicure

Here is a Christmas manicure I did before heading to Disney, featuring Mickey Mouse.  I used Milani 3D Holographic in Cyber Space.  Side note, picked up the set of Milani 3D Holographic polishes on clearance at CVS for 75% off.

I did the Mickey Mouse heads freehand using a black striper. I found it tough to get that round look but I tried my best.  Used a red striper to do the hat and dotting tool with white polish to make the trim on the hat.

I decided after wearing the manicure for two days that I wanted to add some snowflakes and some hidden Mickey Mouse heads too.  I wasn’t too happy with the way it looked.  The idea sounded better in my head.

My original idea for this manicure was the picture I did below.  My nails are not long enough to pull off the angled Mickey Mouse head and I couldn’t pull off stamping the Mickey heads in the background cause the main Mickey head would take up most of my nail.
