Beauty Tips for Women: Chinese New Year 2014 Manicure

Happy Chinese New Year! I was inspired to try my hand at a Chinese New Year manicure when I looked at Jior Couture – Light The Festival. Light The Festival is beautiful gold polish with small glitters of green, red, pink and silver.

For the stamping portion of this manicure I used Bundle Monster BM-H15 and used Sally Hansen Rapid Red to stamp the image.

I did two coats of Light the Festival.

I then stamped the images. It was a bit difficult to stamp since I am down to nubs but I managed to get the images in.

I loved how the manicure turned out.

Beauty Tips for Women: New Year’s Eve Manicure

I was pressed for time for New Year’s Eve but I still wanted to do a manicure. Here is what I came up with:

I did two coats of Wet ‘n Wild Black Crème. I topped it with two coats of Sephora by OPI in It’s Real 18k Gold top coat. For my ring finger I did one coat of Maybelline Bold Gold. I stamped a Happy New Year image from Cheeky jumbo plate 6 using Konad Black. Topped it off with Color Club Speedy top coat.

I wanted something simple to pull off but yet had some bling. I was very happy how it turned out and got some compliments at the party.

The holidays have been crazy. I did several Christmas manicures and simple didn’t have the time to post up anything. I did place pictures on my instagram and twitter accounts. I haven’t decided yet if I will do a blog about them since Christmas is over. We shall see.

Beauty Tips for Women – New Years Eve / New Years Day Manicure

Wanted to share a quick and easy New Years Eve or New Years Day manicure.

Here is a list of the polishes I used to get the look:
Konad – Black
Venique – Golden Age of Beauty
Venique – Base and Top coat
Seche Vite
Ulta – Envy
Sally Hansen – Rapid Red
Sally Hansen – Brisk Blue

For the images, I used Shany stamping plates SH07 for the numbers and SH13 for the fireworks.

I started off with Venique base coat and just one coat of Golden Age of Beauty. This foil gold polish is amazing. I added Venique top coat. Then stamped the fireworks in blue, red and green. Stamped the year in Konad black and topped it off with Seche Vite.
