Orly Mirrorball is a polish I have wanted for some time but never could find. I eventually found it at Sally Beauty Supply. Mirrorball is a silver holographic polish.
The formula is very nice. I applied two coats with no issues.
I wanted to add some nail art to this lovely manicure. I decided to go with a mermaid scale design using Mash-39 plate.
I liked how this manicure came out.
I give Orly Mirrorball 5 brains.

Beauty Tips for Women: Matte French Manicure
I love French manicures, so when I saw the matte French manicure I had to try it. Recently I had picked up Salon Perfect Matte Fx but hadn’t used it and thought it would be perfect to try this technique.
So I started off with two coats of Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris and two coats of Orly Unlawful on my ring finger.
I waited until my nails were dry to apply Matte Fx. I totally forgot to take a picture of this step. Again waited for the nails to dry completely. This using clear top coat did the French manicure line. Very easy and it came out nice.
My sister really liked the manicure and wanted a pedicure. I recreated the look for her and it came out great. It was hard to get a good picture of the pedicure because of her awesome shoes.
Over all I found the technique to be very easy and I liked the way the matte French manicure came out. I would definitely recommend Salon Perfect Matte Fx. It performed well and the matte effect came out great.
Beauty Tips for Women: Taupe Manicure
Looking for a nice taupe color then let me suggest Nicole OPI – My Jay Or The Highway! from their Modern Family collection. I saw this polish in the store and it didn’t call to me at all until I saw a manicure using the color and just fell in love with it.
Here is my simple and quick manicure using this polish.
My Jay Or The Highway! is a lovely cream taupe/nude color. The formula was very nice. It applied very smoothly and with two coats reached opacity. For my ring finger I decided to using Color Club – Beyond. Beyond is an amazing black holographic polish. I used two coats. I tried to capture the holographic effect put simply couldn’t do it justice.
Although I liked the manicure just fine with the accent finger I wanted to add something so I decided to try my hand at a french tip using Beyond. I did it freehand and it didn’t come out to bad. But I defiantly have to work on my freehand technique.
Overall, loved how the manicure came out. The manicure is a nice transition for fall.
I definitely recommend My Jay Or The Highway! plus Beyond and give both polishes 4 brains.
