Beauty Tips for Women: Marilyn Monroe Manicure

Enjoying my Mother’s Day weekend with a Marilyn Monroe movie binge, which inspired my manicure.

The polish I used for this manicure are:
China Glaze – Love Letters
Sally Hansen – Smoky
Pure Ice – Silver Mercedes
Rica – Blackout
HongNuo – Glitter in silver
Seche Vite

The Marilyn Monroe image and the swirling image are from Born Pretty plate BP-15.   I stamped them using Rica Blackout. Nail Art Polish Beauty tips for Women 564

I wanted to do a black and silver color combination.  A play on the simple sexy little black dress Marilyn Monroe wore while playing ukulele in Some Like It Hot.  The silver is for diamonds of Gentlemen Prefer Blonds.

Beauty Tips for Women: Pink French Manicure

Here is a delicate twist on the staple French Manicure.  I wanted to do pink but I wanted something that was subtle.  I went with Sinfulcolors Professional Salior’s Delight, which is a lovely soft pink.

Very simple and I love how it came out.

Beauty Tips for Women: Intertwined Blue Hearts

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, like tomorrow.  That being said I’m heading to a wedding and wanted to match my dress with my nails.

The polish I used for this manicure is SinfulShine Most Sinful. Most Sinful is an amazing royal blue.  I did two coats.  I wanted to do some stamping but since time was not on my side I only did an accent finger. I used the delicate intertwined hearts image from MoYou London Princess Collection – 10.  I stamped the image using Rica Blackout and topped everything off with Seche Vite.
